Gettin' my craft on!

Well, now that Thanksgiving's over, it's time to get crafting.  Here's a picture of my supplies, I'd list them for you but I'm sure you all know what everything is. If you need to know where I purchased any of these items just e-mail me and I'll be happy to give you details :D
What am I doing with all of this you ask?  Or maybe you're really not that curious but allow me to tell you anyway. lol    Drum roll please!
   Taaaa-daaaaa!!!
I love my paper doily flower...it's so fluffy!
So many people have asked me how I make my paper roses like the ones I made awhile ago out of  vintage encyclopedia pages.  Maybe a tutorial?
I found these bottle brush wreaths at my local Tuesday Morning
(I bought their whole stash).  I'm really not a fan of the traditional red, green, and gold colors so I plucked gently removed the colored beads and replaced them with silver beads I cut from a garland.
I added a twine bow, jingle bells, and now I love it, love it, love it!!!

I wish I had enough room in this small apartment
for a Christmas tree, I would fill it up with these!
This snowman jar is not included in the supplies
shown above, it's just another little something I
made to sell in my booth at Country Roads.

This petite Christmas fairy too.

Have a wonderful week,

"...With Thanksgiving"

I can't believe Thanksgiving is already here.   Is anybody done with their Christmas shopping yet? Has anybody started?
I started with the "easy to buy for" list, I'm now on the "haven't got a clue, I'll know when I see it" list.  Does anybody else have one of those?

What about the Thanksgiving grocery list?
We spend this holiday with my in-laws every year, my hubs and brother-in-law took over cooking last year's feast, since my MIL had broken multiple bones in her foot and was "out of commission".  Yes, I know, we are very spoiled to have these two guys that love to cook but don't be hatin'. lol

So, since nothing goes on at our home, I took down my fall decor.  I think I'll take it to their house and decorate my MIL's sideboard with my pumpkin collection. (I have been chosen to decorate her home for the holidays for several years now).
I remembered to take a picture of said collection and thought it would be perfect to share at this week's White Wednesday @ Faded Charm.
The mercury gourd and glittered pumpkin were gifted to me for my birthday last month and the 3 little ones are a Dollar Tree find.

I pray that all of you have a very blessed Thursday and in closing I want to share one of my favorite verses with you, one that is engraved in my heart and I recall often since I have trouble with anxiety.

"Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you request be known unto God, and His peace which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind."                                     Philippians 4:6

Blessings,

Space No. 22

Whenever I mention that I have a space at Country Roads Antiques the first thing I get asked is "where is your booth located?".
I often try to give them directions, starting from the front door, but it's so much easier to just say
"I'm space No. 22".
So I put together this frame with my space
number, hoping that I'll be easier to find.
What do you think?
I just filled my space with lots of new goodies
for your shopping pleasure.  Take a look!
Some of these items already found new homes
but I'm busy working on projects to bring in
so you'll always find something new.
Love the mercury glass...so festive!
This silver tray and cloche are from my personal collection, so hard to let it go.  I just attended a Holiday Boutique at Eloise's (The Junk Fairy) home, she always "decks her halls" with the most beautiful Christmas displays.
She had the exact same footed tray and cloche in the middle of her dining room table filled with vintage Christmas ornaments, I wanted to run and pull mine out of the store and keep it. lol
I'm sure it will go to a good home with somebody
who will love it as much as I did
I'm also letting go of my bird collection.
They'll be showing up in my booth all month.

I even set up a colorful Christmas corner!
I'll be spending a lot of time at Country Roads for  the next few weeks. Maybe I'll see you there!
Blessings to you,
